Attorney Lisa Pittman Dennis, was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, but began practicing in Washington, DC. She graduated from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies. She graduated from the District of Columbia School of Law ( located in Washington, DC) with a Juris Doctorate Degree, and Seton Hall School of Law with a Certificate in Corporate Healthcare Compliance.

Upon graduating, she began working with the Time Dollar institute in Washington, DC, an International Non- Profit Organization. She was instrumental in community development across the City.

She was the first Law Professor to teach in the Business School -newly created Law division with Strayer University Online. As an adjunct Professor, she served as the Online Divisions' subject matter expert when new law classes were implemented at the University. Professor Dennis taught Online law classes for thirteen years.

She taught BUSINESS LAW I &II LEGAL PRACTICE, ETHIC AND THE LAW, CRIMINAL LAW WHITE COLLAR CRIME INTRODUCTORY TO PARALEGAL STUDIES CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, US COURTS, ETHICS AND LEADERSHIP IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE JUVENILE DELINQUENCY AND JUSTICE, LEGAL, SOCIAL AND ETHICAL ISSUES IN E-COMMERCE INTRODUCTION TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE I & II and CRIME AND CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR.

In 2004, she became an Associate with Greenberg & Lieberman and Litman Law where she immersed herself in Intellectual Property Law.

She is licensed in North Carolina, but she has represented numerous clients before Federal Administrative Agencies in Washington DC, Georgia, South Carolina, and Maryland. She is admitted to the State and Federal courts in North Carolina and has Pro Hac Vice admittance in several states. Her defense practice has represented clients throughout the North Carolina in Mecklenburg, Gaston, Iredell, Wake and Martin Counties.

The focus of the Law Office of Lisa Pittman is Intellectual Property. Her most recent group of clients have come from the emerging entertainment industry. She represents Entertainment entities in their quest for Intellectual Property protection for their business processes, services and developed products. She on the Board of the Roadies of Color United Association, a nonprofit 501c6 entity that is an advocacy organization of logistic and technical support professionals for live music touring with music artist. Restaurants, entertainment entities, film projects and hospitality-related businesses have sought representation through the Law Office of Lisa Pittman. It is an interesting time at the practice, and we continue to grow representing emerging businesses with their Intellectual property needs. The firm also represents clients seeking Social Security Disability Benefits, and Estate Probate.
