Tabitha McAllister
Collaborative Partnership – Nonprofit & Community-based Programs
  • Corporate Role: Collaborative Partnership - Nonprofit & Community-Based Programs
  • Functional Role: Executive Director
  • Business: Beyond Bricks and Mortar Initiative

Tabitha is a well-seasoned professional in the nonprofit community-based health and wellness sector with over 16 years of extensive experience and an impressive track record of service particularly in assisting with the overall development, strategic planning, service delivery, and management of the organizations across multiple sites and departments. Tabitha will serve as the linchpin for our nonprofit engagements, and our Pop-up and real estate developments, community-based grant-driven programs, and sponsorship/donor support.

Tabitha is a native Washingtonian who relocated to North Carolina over 20 years ago initially to attend school. After completing her initial studies, she developed a robust passion for community-based, early childhood and health and wellness areas.

During this time, she honed her skill sets in the Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Salisbury areas of North Carolina.

Space 6 Studios will rely on her local community-based guidance and leadership to work closely with our Nerve Center site development in Huntersville, North Carolina. She will be tasked with the evaluation of the effectiveness of programs that help to promote and diversify funding through effective resource stewardship with a healthy mix of government funding and private philanthropic support. She will develop and monitor program budgets, and implementation of policies to ensure checks and balances.

Drawing upon her extensive experience, Tabitha will provide all leadership staff mentoring, guidance, supervision, and professional development for both our nonprofit initiatives (i.e. Hub within the Village and Beyond Bricks and Mortar Initiatives) by staying abreast of developments in Early Intervention and Inclusion, Early Care and Education, Child Health, and Family Engagement.

She will also deploy resource efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with staff to balance workload and effort, and provides regular feedback so key staff can continuously improve their supervision and mentoring skills.
