Since our site is located immediately adjacent to the designated Kensington, Md Sector Plan targeted area, and less than five minutes from the current location of the Kaiser Permanente Health Center, we look to establish a prototype residential small-scale space for use to facilitate preventive care via health and wellness initiatives that are seamlessly integrated into existing and proposed new community health and well resources.
This site represents our demonstration of how the overall concept can be applied to create a sustainable "Enclave." Our programs and initiatives, through this development, are designed to be a low maintenance, non-obtrusive addition to the immediate community.
And will focus on user-friendly mobile applications to keep all local residents informed of onsite workshops, interaction with homeowners, business owners, and the general community at-large.
Collectively, these resources will serve as our foundation of support in building sustainable communities integrated into ongoing preventive care health and wellness programs/training that are portable and easy to access, and located in community-specific areas of local, regional, national and international communities. We are introducing our current development efforts that includes our planning, design, pre-development due diligence for this proof-of-concept.
Onsite Agricultural Training & Healthy Food Source & Garden
One of our linchpins of our health and wellness programs/initiatives will be to facilitate the use of our agricultural gardens as a primary food source for the onsite advanced research and training in the growth, production and preparation of garden-to-initiatives. It will also promote an organized and increased research and training resource capacity for the local community in the agriculture technology sector, specifically, in community-specific residential areas.
In addition, the commercial kitchen space will provide critical training facilities that will serve as a demonstration site for food preparation, healthy eating, and age-appropriate nutrition education/training programs.
