
As a series of pre-development initiatives, we have spent the previous five years working directly with community-specific small and micro-businesses during our pre-development planning, analysis and community needs analysis phase in advance of this development proposal, specifically, in underdeveloped and underserved pockets of Ward 4. Consequently, we created an immediate resource network of small/micro-businesses within specific pockets of the immediate communities to utilize easy-to-apply sustainable technologies to support and drive localize economic and land development initiatives.
Another objective is to provide immediate food selections at nearby food retail and food service businesses. Our approach is to establish full integration of our garden-to-table initiatives, music, aroma Reiki and massage therapies, healthy food production, and preparation training into our ongoing, in-community Pop-up training events. One of our goals is to facilitate a robust locally trained workforce in hospitality/customer service as a training model for onsite emergency, disasters, and climate change event preparations. Our program will also go beyond the standard culinary arts and other food service-related skill sets by integrating our solar and renewable energy sectors into onsite practical application of solar ovens/cooking within our hospitality customer service training sessions.
