International Cultural Exchange - Kenya - Water Safety and Survival Training
Captain Erza G. Karimi, US Coast Guard, Retired will lead our development of ongoing water safety and survival training programs. Since more people are killed by flooding more than any other one-time, natural disaster event including earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes, etc. worldwide, we are excited to welcome Capt. Karimi to involvement in the development of ongoing water survival and safety programs to be employed in coastal regions globally.
Ezra was an instructor in the Ocean Education Institute for World Peace Maritime Education and Development Learning Technologies School. He has extensive experience in providing boating, fishing, rescue operations for youth groups of 30 to 40. He is also an expert in safety procedures, HAZ/MAT compliance.
We will rely on his guidance to create and implement a uniformed global training model that will be integrated into our in-community, ongoing Pop-up events. We will also rely on him to assist with a robust communications strategy between First Responders and other community-specific stakeholders.
He earned a US Coast Guard Boat Captain Seamanship License, taught urban youth maritime skills, and is very knowledgeable about the logistics of transportation of First Responders and evacuees by boat.
