Our selected development sites are designed as community-specific, in-community facilities for advanced research, training, planning, and design, focusing on innovative and smart dual-use of public spaces during emergencies and non-emergencies.
These sites will feature portable, low-cost, and disaster-resistant spaces for Sustainable Urban Villages (SUVs) and Pop-up events, serving as international and community-specific hubs for easy-to-apply sustainable technology application and training.
Some of the sites we analyzed and provided site conceptual designs that apply our approach are moving forward to become designated prototype Sustainable Urban Villages/(SUVs)/Enclave sites. See Studio No 1.
We have designated a site in the coastal region of Huntersville, North Carolina, Studio No. 1 of our six studio sites. This site will serve as our stateside "Nerve Center," it is approximately 10.5 acres, and is under the Ownership and Control of one of our Development Partners.
We are currently in the pre-development analysis phase of this studio effort, and in the process of negotiating to use a portion of it to be converted into use as our, urban, vertical, and year-round agricultural gardening training farm, boot camp & advanced research in the practical application of low-cost, easy-to-apply sustainable technologies integrated with low-cost, high-end, easy-to-apply state-of-the-art technologies training, event domes, and residence villas.
We'd love to hear from you! If you have any questions or want to learn more about our Coastal Communities Initiative.
